Kyle Redlin

- Graphic Designer

Currently, I freelance my skill set for logos, websites and promotional materials.

Formerly,  I led the Imaging Department at AM Solutions, a customer driven multi-channel communications provider. My department was responsible for a multitude of responsibilities including design, prepress, imposition, data processing and variable layout. When I started with Badger Image Group my focus was on prepress/imposition and to develop a position to absorb those duties from Design and the Print Operator. After merging with AM Solutions to improve our mailing capacity I continued to grow my skill set processing variable layout and was asked to lead the department.

Previously, I worked as a Graphic Designer with Universal Presentation Concepts. My Bachelors Degree at UW-Milwaukee in Digital Interactivity Visualization Animation and Sound and first year at Madison College (MATC) in Mechanical Design Technology prepared me for the position. I laid out artwork for print and designed custom artwork for in-house marketing and client displays. My education in mechanical design allowed me to efficiently layout artwork to CAD drawings of display parts and better understand assemblies for creating instruction sheets. Alongside Drafting Engineers and other designers we delivered the most effective and affordable point of purchase displays nationwide while working with clients from concept to production.

Receiving artwork from a wide range of clients and adjusting them for print production allowed me the opportunity to investigate the different methods of layout and file management and have applied techniques to my creative repertoire.

Upon receiving my Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2008 I took the opportunity to travel in between working in another passion of mine, Coffee. I have led and worked as a part of some pretty impressive cafe's including Alterra (now Collectivo) to Ancora and La Colombe. Other hobbies include: camping, backpacking, cooking, woodworking and caring for our labradoodle and good boy Hugo.
